WINTER SPORTS SEASON WRAP-UP Wells spirit week concluded with a rally where a very "special" guest made an appearance. During the week several staff members ran a contest where they were willing to do some crazy things to raise $$$ for our Holocaust survivor assembly. The "stunning" Mr. Stien was the winner!!!! HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS Staff and students were honored to experience the moving testimony of two courageous Holocaust survivors, Ms. Inge Auerbacher and Ms. Bozenna Urbanowicz Gilbride on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Their willingness to share their personal stories with us made real the horrors we had only read about. They have touched our hearts and we wish them much success as they continue to touch the hearts of others. We dedicate this book with our love to all the children of the world. Our wish is that they grow up in peace, without hunger and without prejudice. MRS. SETTLE RETIRES "A teacher affects eternity; she can never tell where her influence stops." Thank you for your years of hard work and dedication to the students of Wells Middle School. May you live your retirement in good health, great company and happy days.....We will miss you.... |
